 Fellowships and Internships

2nd Annual Prospective Intern Event:

This FREE event will give inquiring young adults the opportunity to learn, retreat and get to know Lamppost Farm. You'll have the pleasure of learning from well-known author, speaker, and farmerJOEL SALATIN on Saturday, March 18-19, 2023. We will then caravan 40 minutes to Lamppost Farm for a farm-raised dinner together and a time of Questions and Answers before lodging at the farmhouse. We will have breakfast together the next morning, experience "life on the farm" (farm chores), and a time of worship before leaving.

What to bring:
  • Sleeping bag, pillow and sleep mat if you have one (some beds and mats available)
  • Toiletries
  • Comfortable clothes for Saturday
  • Old, warm clothes and sturdy shoes for Sunday
  • Journal/notebook, pen and Bible

**PLEASE let us know if you have any food allergies or aversions.**

Lamppost Farm Fellowships and Internships

Picture2014 Headband Day with former interns, 4 Montgomerys, and a few 2-legged and 4-legged friends.
Lamppost Farm utilizes the space created in agriculture to teach desiring individuals  about the intricacies and integration of farming, ministry, communal living, and beyond.  They are immersed into the rhythms of life on our farm: family dynamics, seasonal challenges and opportunities, shared space and resources as well as perspectives on ministry, education, faith, work, rest, and more.  Fellows and interns become part of the Lamppost Farm family as we eat, work, and play together, all the while being a source of life to the surrounding community through our farm store and Airbnb cabin as well as the Fields' Corners Program and facilitated events.
Fellows are invited to stay for a year after completing an internship, while interns come for a summer or during a semester (if your campus in nearby).
For detailed information on fellowships and internships at Lamppost Farm, follow this link.
NOTE: We look forward to getting to know well the fellows and interns we choose to invite because they become part of the Lamppost Farm family; living with us, sharing meals, space, and more. PLEASE GET TO KNOW US BY READING THE PAGES ABOUT OUR FAMILY AND MINISTRY and feel free to fill out this questionnaire.  We will be in touch about further possibilities.

Applicants accepted on a rolling basis.  You may send your questionnaire and resume to 14900 Market St Columbiana, OH 44408 or via email to: lamppostfarm@gmail.com.

The video below is of a ministry started by past fellows, Sean & Nicole Boehrig in Swaziland, Africa. Lamppost Farm desires fellows who want to use their time on the farm to discern how the Lord is calling them to be vocationally missional, whether it be in agriculture, food, community living, or in other ways we have seen our fellows press further up and further in. Past fellows are working in the food and health industries, agriculture, education and ministry.
