Fields' Corners

Lamppost Farm's Fields' Corners Project: A Dis-ease Resilience Series

The name Fields’ Corners comes from the Hebrew word, kanaph, which can mean “corners”,  “extremities” or “wings”. This word is used in scripture to connote God’s healing, protection and  provision. If you recall in the book of Ruth, she was cared for under the Hebrew practice of farmers  leaving the corners of their fields ungleaned for those in need to harvest.  Lamppost Farm hopes to share our resources through Fields’ Corners with our community in this way.
Our belief is that disease is an indicator of the dis-ease of a whole person.

Objective: To empower participants to access their God-given ability to be at ease in body, mind and spirit through 3 key issues: nutrition, environment and stress management.

Core Values: Based on biblical principles
  1. Belief that God gave each of the us the potential for ease vs. dis-ease in our bodies (physical, mental, emotional and spiritual)
  2. Belief that each person has autonomy over and responsibility for their own body and choices
  3. Belief that love is more powerful than fear
  4. Belief that being in authentic relationship with others is a key to transformation

The program: designed to be 12 monthly small group (LIMIT 10 PARTICIPANTS) gatherings including
  • A farm-raised meal together
  • Informational and experiential education, including local health practitioners at each gathering
  • Pre and Post-series self-assessments
  • Emotional/spiritual support
  • Take-home products, services and practices for lifestyle habits
  • Access to trusted resources for dis-ease resilience, organic and grass-fed foods, farm therapy
To see the dates and curriculum, click this link. You are welcome to sign up for the whole year (cost: $250), but if you are unable to commit to 12 meetings, we’ve broken the material down into 3 sections ($100/each). Recognizing that all three key issues must be addressed in conjunction, there will be integrated material, but each 4-part series will have in-depth highlights of one particular theme.

THE PROGRAM IS NOW OPEN TO ACCEPT PARTICIPANTS FOR 2023.
