Non-GMO Chicken Packages and Pricing
Lamppost Farm made a significant change this year in our meat products: we have begun to purchase exclusively non-GMO feed for our animals!
We still have whole, frozen chickens available from 2011. They have remained great eating this winter, but we would like to move our inventory to make room for our 2012 products. Therefore, all 2011 birds (mostly around 4-5lbs.) will be $10 each! We will give you choice of size on a first come, first serve basis!
Our 2012 (non-GMO) chickens will be priced at $3.75/lb. frozen and $3.25/lb. fresh (on days that we process here at the farm). Those processing dates are May 25 & 26, June 22, 25 & 26, July 20 & 21. Please call ahead to make sure the schedule has not changed, or to schedule a parting workshop (cutting whole chickens into parts for freezing).
Discount packages are also available: 25 chickens for $300, fresh or frozen, or 12 fresh for $160, or 12 frozen for $175.
